Highrise Heroes - The Towering Word Game App Reviews

Not much for writing reviews but this game deserves it. The makers did an excellent job at keeping its players engaged. While some of the boards felt repetitive this problem is not big enough to turn you away. The storyline is cool and overall this is one of the best word games Ive played, which my wife will forever holdover my head since shes the one that downloaded it

This little game gives you the fun of word puzzles, the challenge of discerning the tricks to beat a level, and the amusement of the storyline. Plus there are some math levels thrown in as well. Addicting for young and old.

This game is terrific fun if you enjoy wordplay. Mostly puzzles, but with an amusing narrative connecting the puzzles. Most puzzles are tough but fun; some of the timed puzzles are wicked. The one major drawback of the game: I expected, since its a Game Center game, that Id be able to pick up on my iPad where I left off on my iPhone, and that the in-app unlock purchase would apply to the game on both platforms. Not so. The two versions are evidently independent of one another. Five stars other than that drawback.

The storyline is always moving and the rules are always changing to keep you engaged. Each level allows repeats if you want to try for a higher score (or just try to pass it on the harder ones). Sometimes you get by mostly on skill but sometimes you need a lot of luck. Im definitely addicted and worried what happens when I get to the end.

Fun to play. Challenging but still relaxing.

Easy to pick up and hard to put down. Enough challenge to keep you interested but not do hard you give up the higher it goes. The story can be a little cheesy but doesnt take away from your enjoyment.

Low pressure word game wrapped in a storyline. Nice twist on your run of the mill word game. Clever levels make it even more fun. Try it!

Gives depth to typical word game and is fun to play. Love seeing where I rate after each level.

Very enjoyable - some of the levels are extremely hard and Id get frustrated and have to stop for a few days. I do wish it were compatible among platforms. To play on my phone I need to pay again and had to start the game at the beginning again. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars.

Ive never left a review, but liked this game so much that I had to... Some tough puzzles, but all passable with a few tries. There is a fun story to go along with! I replay levels even though I made it out of the tower...

I love that it mixes the puzzle aspect of the game with a story line. Never seen a game quite like this!

I loved this game. My husband is usually uninterested in whatever game I happen to be addicted to at the moment, but with this one he was jumping in and sometimes we would spend the evening looking for words and beating levels together. The storytelling was entertaining, too, with a clever ending. Ive been trying to find another game like this out there since weve beaten this one, but still have found nothing!
